Spoken Word in Victoria

Last week, Post Everything featured a piece about Spoken Word in Victoria. I hosted the show and caught up with Missie Peters, a prominent performance poet, two-time Victoria Slam Champion, artistic director of Not Your Grandma’s Poetry, and festival director for the Victoria Spoken Word Festival.

She will also be performing at the 2012 UNO Fest for the UNO Works segment with her new piece, “Where’s My Flying Car?!” You can check out intrepidtheatre.com for more UNO Fest info and head over to cfuvunofest.wordpress.com to listen to an interview with Missie about her new piece.

This episode also features guest host Julia Hostetler and her interview about the Burning Man Festival documentary, “Black Rock Horse,” with director Todd Darling. For more information, visit http://www.trojanhorse2011.com/tag/todd-darling
